Hello, and thanks for visiting! Bambu Beauty Ltd, which does business as Bambu Beauty, operates and provides services through http://www.bambubeauty.co.uk (the “Site”). We’ll go by “Bambu Beauty”, “we”, or “us” to keep it simple. We know these types of documents can get pretty dense, but we want you to read this, so we’ll do our best to keep it easy to read. We will also refer to the Site and the services available through it as the “Services”.

At Bambu Beauty, we pride ourselves on delivering natural, handmade cosmetics to your door and delivering excellent customer service every time. We work hard to answer your calls and queries, lovingly pick and pack your parcels and send them out of the door with the care and attention they’d give to their nearest and dearest. If our service has rocked your world, or if you aren’t 100% happy, contact our team straight away on email@example.com. We aim to provide high quality service and all feedback helps us to improve each time.
We hope your experience on our website is a happy one, and we always aim to get your parcels posted out as quickly as humanly possible. You can find out more about our shipping and returns in our ‘Shipping and Returns Policy’.
Things happen quickly, both inside and outside of Bambu Beauty, so we will sometimes review these Terms to make sure they accurately reflect developments in current law and our business operations. We reserve the right to update and revise these Terms at any time upon 7 days’ notice. We’ll provide notice by changing the “Effective Date” at the top of this page so you can tell if these Terms have changed since your last visit. Please review these Terms regularly because 7 days after we post any changes, your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We only permit individuals who are at least 18 years old and can form legally binding contracts to use the Services. However, even non-adults deserve fantastic skincare. You can use the Services if you are under 18, but only if you are at least 13 years old and only if a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old supervises you. In all cases, the adult will be the user and is responsible for any and all activity, including supervised use of the products. If you are younger than 13 years old, you may not use the Services.
Your use of the Services means you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements we outline in these Terms. However, we may refuse to let certain people access or use the Services. We may also change our eligibility criteria.
We offer the Services only for personal, noncommercial use, and not for the use or benefit of any third party (unless you are a parent or legal guardian using the Services for your minor child).
4. Orders and contract information
a. Orders. Everyone is able to submit an order, but you’ll have to be over 18 to do so (or over 13 with the supervision of a parent or guardian). We’ll need your name, email address, billing address, delivery address (this may be the same as your billing address) and telephone number (in case we need to speak to you about your order) to complete your order and send you your Bambu Beauty purchase. If the technology fails us or we make a genuine mistake, your order attempt may be unsuccessful. We will do everything we can to resolve this and aim to put that smile firmly back on your face.
b. Communication. Once you have placed an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, and then another email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. Depending on which delivery option you’ve selected, you then have a rough idea of when to start running the bath or shower, or when your next stash of skin and hair care products will be with you.
If something is not in stock, we will let you know as soon as possible after the order has been placed. If we are expecting the item in soon, we may send it in a separate parcel after your main order has been despatched.
Once you are ready to check out, you will be directed to the shipping confirmation page where you may select the type of delivery, and the delivery and/or billing addresses.
c. Payment Information. After you have made your product selections and provided your shipping information, you will see a prompt for your payment details, such as your credit card information and any promotional codes or gift cards you may have. By entering your payment information and submitting your order, you authorize us and our third party payment processors to charge the amount of the order to your selected payment method.
d. Checking Order Status. We know how exciting it can be to get a delivery, so once your parcel is on its way to you, we’ll send you an email confirmation with tracking information. Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact us via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook @bambu_beauty_ if you would like to check the status of your order, or if you just want to chat about how excited you are about your new purchase.
e. Changing or Cancelling an Order. We work hard to process orders quickly so that you don’t have to wait. However, this means that although we will try our best to accommodate order modifications, we cannot guarantee them.
Orders can be changed at any time prior to your parcel being dispatched; please just drop us an email at email@example.com or get in touch using our online contact form. You do not need to give a reason for changing your order, and additional payment or refund will be processed within 48 hours of the change being requested. The date of the revised order will be taken as the new order date, so contracts will be fulfilled using the new date as the starting point; though we often fulfil orders much sooner.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 14 calendar days. The period of 14 days begins on the day you receive your item(s). You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by letter or email within this period, and must take reasonable care of the item(s) and not use them.
Emails should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or letters should be sent to Customer Care, Bambu Beauty, Antrobus House, 18 College Street, Petersfield, GU31 4AD. You may wish to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records. Your cancellation is effective from the date you sent us the email or posted the letter to us. You need to inform us of your decision to cancel before the 14 day cancellation period has expired.
Please return item(s) to us in their original packaging as soon as possible after informing us of your wish to cancel, within 14 calendar days of notice. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If item(s) are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.

f. Risk of Loss. We want to be fair, so the risk of loss on transfers to you when our courier (such as Royal Mail, Hermes) has confirmed that your parcel has been delivered to the shipping address you provided. Equally, for returns, you retain the risk of loss until either your courier has confirmed the parcel has been delivered to our returns address or we have safely received the parcel; either of these events triggers the loss to be borne by Bambu Beauty. g. Returns, Exchanges, and Replacements. For more information about returns and exchanges and replacing your products, check out the Shipping and Returns Policy or get in touch with us directly.
h. Language. Presently, our order process only supports the English language.
i. Legal Contract. Your order is accepted and a contract is formed between Bambu Beauty and you only when we dispatch the item(s) you have ordered. A contract is not formed at the point when payment has been taken by Bambu Beauty, or at the point when you receive an email from Bambu Beauty acknowledging receipt of your order. Until the item(s) are dispatched, the order may not be accepted by Bambu Beauty or may be cancelled by you.
Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. If we believe a customer acts against these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or suspend their order. This includes non-payment of ordered products and fraudulent use of our website and/or sales. We also reserve the right to bar certain e-mail addresses and telephone numbers from accessing our website to place orders. We will not accept an order from any customer who we have suspended.
Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we have received full payment.
A person who is not party to the contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with it.
5. Payment information
We gladly accept payments via PayPal, including Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express. Paypal is a secure method of payment which can be used without a paypal account. Bambu Beauty does not store any payment card details.
All items are sold in Pounds Sterling (GBP), though we happily accept credit card payments from all over the world.

If you have a complaint relating to our Terms and Conditions or our products, we will attempt to resolve the complaint using our internal complaints-handling procedure. If the process is exhausted and the complaint is not settled in this way, you may make a request to us for the dispute to be settled by mediation through The Retail Ombudsman or Online Resolution Dispute Platform. If you make such a request, we shall consider whether or not we wish to use The Retail Ombudsman to try to resolve the dispute but we are not obliged by law to do so. If we agree to submit a dispute to The Retail Ombudsman, we shall notify you and you may (i) complete the online form on the Retail Ombudsman website or (ii) send your complaint using a paper form to The Retail Ombudsman, 33rd Floor Euston Towers, 286 Euston Road, London NW1 3DP. By ordering from our website, you agree not to commercially resell any of our products. Commercially reselling our products is a breach of these terms and conditions and your agreement with us.
8. Events beyond our control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).
A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes but is not limited to:
- Strikes or other industrial action.
- Civil commotion, terrorism or threat of, war or threat or preparation for.
- Fire, explosion, adverse weather conditions, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster.
- Disruption to supplies or delivery methods.
- Acts of government or regulatory bodies.
- Disruption to public or private telecommunications networks.
9. Prices and VAT
Our prices, as stated on our website, are in pound sterling (£). Bambu Beauty is not VAT registered so you will not be charged VAT on your order. Your order will be charged in pounds sterling even if you don’t live in the UK. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. Please note that offers are subject to availability and may end before originally advertised.
11. Promotional Codes
From time-to-time we advertise promo codes for you to enjoy. Sign up to our email newsletter and follow us on social media to find out about these.
To redeem a promo code, simply type the code into the promotional code field in the bag or checkout section of the site, click the apply button and the relevant discount will be automatically deducted from the final price of your qualifying purchase. If you forget to enter the promo code at the time of purchase as specified above, your purchase will not be eligible for the discount. Discounts may not be claimed after you have confirmed your purchase on the site.
Codes cannot be applied to any prior online orders. Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional codes. A code’s value is as stated and no transfer, substitution or exchange for cash value for products can be made as part of the offer. Codes cannot be used against the purchase of gift cards. Bambu Beauty reserves the right to withdraw or vary any offer at any time. Any item refunded will be refunded at the discounted price, being the price paid. Delivery fees will not be refunded.
Unless stated, all Free Delivery promotional codes exclude International Delivery and Next Day UK Delivery.
12. Facebook and Instagram competition rules
Entrants must be 18 or over and reside in the UK, unless stated otherwise.
The prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to change the prize to an alternative prize of similar value without notice if circumstances beyond our control require it to do so.
No cash alternatives will be offered and prizes are non-transferable. Entry is limited to one per person. No purchase is necessary for entry.
Our competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.
13. Intellectual Property
Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but that doesn’t mean you can steal our intellectual property! All of the content on bambubeauty.co.uk, our branded products and social media, including the compilation of the website, Services and other materials, are the exclusive property of Bambu Beauty Ltd. All trademarks and trade names that appear on the Services and the overall “look and feel” of the Site and the Services are proprietary of Bambu Beauty. You may not display, reproduce or otherwise use the content or materials without first receiving written consent from us. Any unauthorized use of any content or materials on the Services is strictly prohibited and violates copyright, trademark, and/or other intellectual property laws, and/or the laws of privacy, publicity, and/or communications regulations and statutes.

14. Right to Use the Services
After all of the restrictions above, we don’t want it to sound like you can’t even use the Services, so we’ll give you permission right here: subject to your complete and ongoing compliance with these Terms, you have the right to access and use the Services solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This right will allow you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as we provide them, in the manner we permit through these Terms. We don’t think you would need to do much else.
If you are prohibited under applicable law from using the App or the Services, you may not use them.
15. Restrictions on Your Use of the Services
Just so we’re clear, however, these rights do not allow you to do any of the following:
- interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Services or any activities conducted on the Services.
- take any action that imposes or may impose (as determined by us in our sole discretion) an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our or our third party providers’ infrastructure.
- resell or make any commercial use of the Services or any of the Service content.
- modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or convert into human readable form any of the Service content not intended to be so read, including using or directly viewing the underlying HTML or other code from the Services except as interpreted and displayed in a web browser.
- copy, imitate, mirror, reproduce, distribute, publish, download, display, perform, post, store, or transmit any of the Service content, including any Marks, in any form or by any means, including electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise.
- use any manual or automated software devices or other processes (including data mining, bots, spiders, automated tools or similar data gathering and extraction methods) to “crawl” or “spider” any page of the Services or to collect any information from the Services or any user of the Services.
- harvest or scrape any content from the Services, or using other automated or manual means to take our content without our prior consent.
- bypass, circumvent, or attempt to bypass or circumvent any feature of the Services or any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Services, including other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Services.
- run any form of auto-responder or “spam” on the Services.
16. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
